Deputy Chair Darryl MichieDarryl Michie teaches geography and HASS at Morley SHS in Perth. He has been a member of the GAWA Council since 1998 and served as the Conference Convenor for seven years, Vice President and President. In 2013 he was the AGTA Biennial Conference convenor. Julie DavisJulie Davis is a teacher of Geography and has been head of department for the social sciences in both the state and independent schools sector over the last fifteen years. She is currently working for the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority in the Review and Transition Branch developing the new senior Geography syllabus for Queensland. Julie also lectures in Geography at Queensland University of Technology.
